Passage 10

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

In Prakṛti we must do sacred deeds. Only then does the grace of the Paramātma come. Ānanda is attained. There is not a single thing the Paramātma cannot do. With the grace of the Paramātma you can achieve any task at all. Forgetting such a Paramātma, man today thinks constantly of Prakṛti alone. This is not right.

Exemplars who serve in Swami's presence

In our Prasanthi Nilayam there are some who have been serving Swami for 15 or 20 years with an unwavering mind, taking no account of any hardships. That itself is the mark of true Bhakti. That is why they were honoured today. This is not an honour; it is nothing but the reflection of Swami's Prema. In this way much more will take place in the days ahead. Foster an unwavering mind and an undeluded vision. With firm Bhakti and faith, do the service you have to do.

Here is our Professor Radhaswami. It is ten years since he retired. He had a bypass surgery right here, in the Super Speciality Hospital. “Swami! You are the one who gave me life. I need nothing. I will do service,” he said. Those with so sacred a heart are very rare.

In the cardiology department of the Super Speciality Hospital here, a doctor from Italy is working. He has as much work as he could want in Italy. But with the sacred feeling that he must serve in the presence of God, he has come away here. Another doctor, named Keshava Prasad, came from America. He is a Young man. He could still do any amount of work there. But leaving all that, he packed his belongings and came away here, to serve Swami. To those who see them, these people look ordinary. But if you look deeply into their abilities... there are none greater than they anywhere. They are very special people. Such people live very simple lives in Prasanthi Nilayam and work day and night solely for Swami's Prema.
