When electric current passes through a tube light, it gives light. When it passes through the stove, food is cooked. When I am talking here, you are hearing it through the loudspeakers. So electric current is one, but its uses are many. Just because the current helps you in so many ways, you should not touch it out of gratitude, lest it would give you shock.
