In plain words

You must earn that power. It is not found in other places, only in temples. Because there the god, the priest, the worship he performs, the flowers offered, the water, the sacred rice... all these are charged with magnetic power. That is why they draw at once those who go there.

Human effort, divine will

Our body, a magnetic shrine, must be set on a sacred path. When we show anger at others needlessly, when we hate others, when we are jealous at the sight of others, the magnetic power in us is wasted. Sound and rays of light too are wonders of magnetism. Words spoken far away at a radio station in Delhi are heard here at once. What carries these sound waves here? Magnetic power alone. No scientist, no engineer can understand this. How is food digested in the stomach? Who decided that our heart must beat so many times a minute? Scientists cannot understand these things. All this is God's decision. Today's doctors swagger that they have discovered everything, but in fact they have discovered nothing. They have found out how the heart beats, but why does it beat? Who makes it beat? These things they do not know. Blood circulates through all the limbs of the body. What the root cause of this is, they do not know. This is not possible by human effort; it is God who is doing all this. It is only because of the Ahaṅkāra that says, “I am doing it,” that man is unable to know the truth. We cannot eat the ripe paddy just as it is. Only after pounding it, removing the husk, putting it in a pot and cooking it are we able to eat it. Turning paddy into rice and bringing it to a state fit to be eaten is what they called saṃskāra. This happens by our effort. But creation happens only by the will of God. So man must place his faith in divine power. But some fools say there is no God at all. Yet even such people say there is some power behind this creation.
