In plain words
Embodiments of Prema! You do so many acts of service, you sing bhajans, you do sādhanas. But what is the fruit of these sādhanas? What is the fruit of these acts of service? All of them we have made ourselves; all of them have come forth from us! So if we bring forth good from within us, only good fruits will come to us. As the resolves, so the results. If you plant a neem seed, will you get a mango? As the seed, so the tree. For good and bad alike, our resolves alone are the seeds. So we must foster good resolves within us and spread Prema throughout the world. All are brothers and sisters! God is one. What is the difference between divinity and the state of the jīva? The jīva is the individual form; God is the collective form. A branch cannot live apart from the tree. A child cannot stay apart from its mother. A fish cannot last apart from water. The close bond and kinship between the state of the jīva and divinity is just like that! With this in view, Śrī Kṛṣṇa said, “An eternal portion of My own self has become the jīva in the world of the living.”
This whole world is the form of God!
In this Prakṛti we see and hear of good and bad, of sin and merit. Where does all this we see come from? Where does all this we hear come from? All these have come forth from our own resolves and doubts! In the world there is no good and no bad. Good and bad lie only in resolves and doubts. Only when the resolves are pure does Prakṛti look pure. The whole of Prakṛti is filled with the power of attraction. This world attracts every human being. This power of attraction comes from divinity itself. This is what is called Transcendental Truth. It is what does not change in the three times, what moves through the three worlds, what is present in the three guṇas. This is what the Veda said: “Ekaṃ sat viprāḥ bahudhā vadanti.” What exists is one alone. Many people call it by many names. Everything that appears in this world is one, one alone!
