Passage 12

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

All this evil that is happening will become the root cause of good. Only sacred feelings will come to all. All will experience sweet Ānanda. Soon the whole country will take on a sacred form. There are no hardships of any kind. No sorrow of any kind comes. In truth there is no such thing as sorrow at all. Then where would such a thing come from now? All of you, remember God; experience divine Ānanda. This is what I hope for. Every person must experience Ānanda. Even a newborn child must experience Ānanda. No one should meet with sorrow. It will come, but even that sorrow will turn into Ānanda. Very soon the whole world will live an ideal life.

Prema is not something that comes about by Force. It springs from the Source called the heart. Applying Force gives rise to fear, and Prema perishes. Divine feelings must well up in you naturally. You must share that welling Ānanda with all. All must live together in harmony. Even to hold a small tumbler, all five fingers of the hand must work together, must they not! Without unity we can do no work. In the same way, we can gain divinity only through unity. The individual form is the jīva; the collective form is God. There is no use if the jīva stays only a jīva. The jīva must become God. He came from God Himself, and he must become God again. That is why it was said, ‘Īśvarassarva bhūtānāṃ’. Every human being is a form of God. In this world no one is good and no one is bad. Good and bad are only in people's own feelings, not outside.

Embodiments of the divine Ātma! Today, quite unplanned, I have come to speak with you. All of you, stay ever in Ānanda. All of you, receive divine Prema. Bring forth the divinity that is in you. If you grow Prema in you, you can see divinity before your very eyes. ‘Sarvataḥ pāṇipādaṃ tatsarvatokṣi śiromukhaṃ...’ God is everywhere you look. Why do you take such pains, instead of seeing God who pervades all and experiencing Ānanda?
