In plain words

Do not think that Youth means those who are of tender age, or those who are in the prime of youth. It is those who have filled their hearts with the six qualities of enthusiasm, daring, courage, Bhakti, strength and valour who can be called true young women and young men. In our Sai Youth these six qualities must be present in full. Today young women and men of good qualities have become scarce in society. Young women and men are filling their hearts with the group of six enemies: lust, anger, greed, delusion, pride and envy.

Young women and young men, embodiments of Prema! Divinity lies in humanness itself. But because you foster bad qualities and bad conduct and keep good qualities and good thoughts at a distance, the divinity within you is being hidden from view. Above all, in youth you must fill your heart with pure feelings. You must take up sacred deeds. You must live like ‘brothers and sisters’. Sacred qualities such as good qualities, good intellect, devotion to truth, Bhakti, discipline and the doing of one's duty must be present in you in full. Inquire a little into what it is you have learnt by coming here. You are the exemplars for Bhārata! You are the guides for society! You are the finest powers that can uplift the country! You are the sacred persons who can set an ideal before the people and bring them joy and delight! Your duty is to set an ideal before your brothers and sisters. In life, youth is very important. You must not waste it. Help your fellow men, develop good qualities in them, and lead them into good deeds.
