In plain words
On the second day itself she went off walking well. Now she is in good health. The cause of this is nothing but the Name of God! Saying ‘Sairam, Sairam’, she keeps up remembrance of the Name without a break. Many diseases like this, which are beyond the doctors, are being cured. Because I have helped so many in this way, everyone grieved for Me. Only through the prayers they offered have I healed so quickly.
Not only this. It is nine years since the sight went from My left eye. All this while I have been seeing with one eye only. “Swami, it would be good to have this eye set right too,” Narasimhamurthy and the doctors too pleaded with Me. “With one eye I see everything, don't I! Why a second eye? To see the world, does one need two eyes? I do not need it,” I said. But the doctors insisted, and when the leg was operated on, they operated on the eye too.
Today, as I was about to go out at seven in the morning to give darśan to the devotees, Satyajit: “Swami, it will be a strain for You. Let us go at half past seven,’ he pleaded earnestly. Like this, at every step he keeps seeking My welfare. There are so many such devotees in this world. That is why Tyāgarāja sang, ‘So many great souls…’. Only because such people exist can Bhārata remain safe even today. Bhārata is not merely a lump of earth; it is like the heart of the world. If Bhārata is well, all countries will be safe. But the people of Bhārata themselves do not recognise this truth and lead selfish lives. First of all, give up selfishness and take part in work that helps others. Keep seeking the welfare of all. “May all the worlds be happy”: pray this from your heart. Only then will you progress in every way.
