For Prema, Prema alone is Satya. It cannot be turned into anything else. It is a mistake to imagine many forms for such Prema and be deluded.
Embodiments of Prema! However much we experience the principle of Prema, we are never sated; it is not possible to experience it to the full. There is no other way to experience Prema but Prema. Prema is Prema alone! So think of God as the embodiment of Prema and love Him. Do not force onto God whatever loves you have made up for yourselves. God's Prema alone is Satya and eternal! You must experience such a principle of Prema through Prema itself. That Prema becomes manifest in Divinity alone. You must turn your Prema on God alone. The principle of Prema that pervades wherever you look is itself the form of God. There is no room here for the question, ‘Is it so or not?’ If you want it, say so: I will show it at any moment, anywhere. You can see it easily. But first you must make Prema flow within you. You must hold that Prema fast as something that is eternal Satya. Only then will it be possible to show it to you. You long, ‘We must see, we must see.’ But your Prema you keep narrow.
Embodiments of Prema! I, always: ‘Prema, Prema, Prema’.. saying it, I teach Prema alone. But you describe that Prema as ‘like this, like that’. That is merely your own fancy! In truth, no one can describe Prema. Prema has one form only. Attraction itself is the form of Prema. Delighting others is the very principle of Prema. Bestowing grace is the very nature of Prema. Prema itself is God. So live in Prema. Another day I will explain the principle of Prema to you in full and teach it. The love seen in this world is merely made up. Taking such love to be Satya, they delude themselves that Ānanda lies in it. What madness this is! Today all that we love is negative! What we must truly love is positive! That never changes. A small example. For many years you have been coming here. Do you feel any weariness, thinking, ‘Is it not the same Svāmī we saw the other day?’
