Women are not weak; they are embodiments of great power
Embodiments of Prema! Holy women such as Sītā and Draupadī made Satya and Dharma their very support and lived their lives by them. You are not reading the history of such ideal figures. You keep reading all sorts of crazy storybooks. Instead of reading base storybooks, read our sacred ancient history. The nature of the women of Bhārata is supremely sacred. A wife is ready to give even her life for her husband. Men do not have such devotion to sacrifice. Like women, men too must cultivate the spirit of sacrifice. They must protect women. They must uphold the honour of the family. Only then will the name of men truly fit you. Otherwise, will you become men merely by growing beards and moustaches and roaming about?! That is not the mark of manhood.
Embodiments of Prema! You think women are weak, but in truth they are embodiments of great power. If they set their minds to it, they can achieve any great work at all. To care for women and to protect the Dharma of women, we must give even our lives. At least from today, we must go on fostering the Dharma of women in the world and protecting the purity of women. Women too must take up a fitting resolve for this. The wife who regards her husband as God is the true wife. Protecting women is your duty. That is your Dharma. Protecting the whole family is her duty.
If you protect women, they will go on protecting the whole world. So do not look on women as some sort of playthings. Hoping and blessing you that from now on at least you will protect women, honour them, and make a fitting effort to raise your own honour too, I bring My talk to a close.
