In plain words
Because the one who wrote it was Vināyaka. To have such a Vināyaka as our leader is great good fortune. In no circumstance whatever is there hatred or envy or vanity or ostentation in Him. Anger, vexation, envy and vanity are faults found in man, not faults found in God. So, Embodiments of Prema! If you hold even a little anger against your parents, beg them to forgive you, live together with them in harmony, receive their Prema in every way and make progress. Only when you live like this will you become virtuous sons like Vināyaka.
Today is the most important of all festivals. That is why a new bridegroom's parents-in-law invite him to their home.
“This is the most important of all festivals, and so go to your in-laws' home, young bridegroom! There you will have more joy; your dear young sister-in-law will chat with you, your elder sister-in-law will tease you at every turn; the whole village will show you great honour, and your father-in-law himself will wait on your every step: go, and come back, to your in-laws' home”:
so say the people at home too, urging him on. But some hard-hearted people bear a grudge against their parents-in-law and will not go to their house. The root cause of such behaviour is nothing but what they eat and how they live!
