Ordinary people keep changing their love, but those who have unwavering Bhakti and faith do not change it at all. No path but the path of Prema can bring us to God. So, foster Prema.
Embodiments of Prema! Even after you go back to your own places, do not forget Prema in the least. Regard Prema itself as your heart. Then you need not worry about anything else. God stays with you: in your home, at your heels, at your side. “Kṛṣṇa! I will follow You”: if you pray so, Kṛṣṇa walks ahead and you walk behind. Then you are one thing and Kṛṣṇa another. Instead: “Kṛṣṇa! Stay with me always”: that is how you must pray. Truly, Kṛṣṇa is right with you, He is in you. Many devotees say, ‘Swami, I am with You, I am in You, I am for You.’ All these are only words uttered mechanically, not spoken from the heart. God is ever one with you; He is not separate from you. So, at all times, pray in the feeling that your God is with you: in your home, at your heels, at your side. By praying in this way you will be truly blessed.
