In plain words
All of you are embodiments of Prema! No one here is separate. There is no second one at all. To think there is one is your delusion. The Prema that is in all of you is itself the form of Īśvara. This itself is the form of Brahman. So Brahman is not somewhere else; to think He is somewhere else is your delusion. Even to think ‘We are human beings’ is a delusion. All is full of Brahman; all is the form of God, the form of the Ātma, the form of Ānanda. ‘Nityānandaṃ parama sukhadaṃ kevalaṃ jñāna mūrtiṃ …’ All these are descriptions of God. Karma too is the form of Brahman. Do your karma with this sacred feeling. It will surely do you good. In no situation whatever should you revile God or reject Him. All is God; all is Brahman. This is what you must learn on this Śivarātri: all is Brahman, all is Viṣṇu, all is Īśvara. You must cultivate this feeling. There is nothing anywhere in this world that is not God. Sand, atomic in form, and a laḍḍu, massive in form, are both one. If you recognise this Satya, you will become embodiments of Brahman. So many yogis and sādhakas go on searching for Brahman. There is no need to search for where Brahman is. You yourself are Brahmā. You yourself are Viṣṇu. You yourself are Śiva. Your own feelings take on the forms of Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Maheśvara.
The whole world is zero, God alone is the hero
You must conduct yourselves with the feeling ‘All of us together are one.’ There is no second thing at all. ‘Ekaṃ sat viprāḥ bahudhā vadanti’. Only because you cannot understand this rightly does what is one appear to you as two. You do not know spiritual arithmetic properly. To one who knows it, one alone appears everywhere. That itself is God. It is very necessary that you recognise this Satya and act on it. It is a mistake to think that the jīva is one thing and God another. Only when we contemplate oneness does divinity come to be recognised. Put a zero beside one, and it becomes 10. Put another zero, and it becomes a hundred. In this way, the more zeros you put, the more the value goes on growing.
