In me no fault is ever seen, not even an atom's worth. So all of you, follow Sai. Walk on the path of Satya, contemplating God. If you follow the path of Satya, you can achieve anything. I have never once thought of hurting anyone. Such thoughts do not come near me at all. Whatever I do is for you, not for me. The food I eat is for you! The water I drink is for you! All the actions I do, I do for your sake. Those who recognise this truth and act on it will be greatly blessed.
In the East Godavari and West Godavari districts, people are drinking polluted water. I have not yet seen them. But when I learnt that the water they drink is polluted, I was very distressed. To give them good water, I had a hundred crores of rupees spent. The Godavari flows below, but they never once drank a single drop of it. I had that water lifted up through pipes and gave them drinking water. Now they are all very happy. We must try to do good to all as far as we can. Then good comes to us too, and joy comes.
Students! If an enemy crosses your path, greet him lovingly, “O friend!”, and salute him. Then he too will greet you lovingly. All are brothers! Only when you conduct yourselves like that will you have won a good name for our Sathya Sai Institute. We do not take a single naya paisa from the children. We do not take even an examination fee. All come here, study free, gain higher degrees and go back. Spending a great deal of money, many of them take a Ph.D.: I am having them do it. If all the children grow up this way into examples for others, our country will win a great name. News of our children's goodness reaches us even from America. “Swami! There are many of your children in our country. They give us great joy,” they said. The other day a special plane came. It was full of our college's former students! With their wives and children, 250 people came in all.
