Passage 4

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

When you waste time, life itself is wasted. When we keep Satya itself as our goal, nothing will stand in our way.

Love God; that alone is true Prema

At this young age your senses are very strong; and as for your Manas and Buddhi, they are very keen. With so much strength, why are you becoming so weak? The reason for this: you are leading an artificial life. Prema is in all of you. Prema is not your property alone. It is the property of all. In me, in you, in everyone there is Prema. But you are trying to enjoy this Prema by giving it many names. Whoever you love, you love only in an ‘artificial’ way. You must not take this otherwise, but nowadays boys and girls alike love one another only for a petty satisfaction. That is artificial love; it stays for a while and then goes; not only that, it makes man weak. From this weakness many illnesses begin. This principle of Prema is a matter that must be told above all to young women and young men. The principle of Prema is purely divinity and nothing else. We must receive only the principle of Prema that comes from God. We must not take what comes from others. Love God. That alone is true Prema. Apart from that, whatever you love, it is not true.

Embodiments of Prema! You are doing so many sādhanas. However many you do, Satya does not come within your grasp. However many people you seek shelter with, however many you draw to you, the Prema you should receive is not coming to you. True Prema springs from God alone. God is the embodiment of Prema. You must stand firm in that divine Prema, not in worldly love. It is already past the time. I am putting you to strain. Now I will end my talk here, and later on I will explain this principle of Prema to you well.
