In plain words

(The crowning event of the programme held in Sai Kulwant Hall on 15 August 2007 to mark the Independence Day of Bhārata was the stirring address Bhagavān gave. After three elders had spoken of the sacrifices great souls made for the country's freedom, Bhagavān showered His grace on all with His great discourse. Speaking of the service the eminent freedom fighter Sri Subhas Chandra Bose gave the country, He said that it was only because unity was lacking among the people of Bhārata that he had to leave the country. The full text of Bhagavān's divine address is given below.)

So many have spoken here, but no one has said anything about Subhas Chandra Bose. He was a man of great virtue, a man of great strength. After passing the ICS, he came to India, entered politics and toiled for the country in many ways. But, unfortunately, because there was no unity among the people of Bhārata, he had to go away. Yet though he lived in a foreign land, he never lost his love for the land of Bhārata; he went on making it grow day by day. In him the powers of body, mind and spirit were present in full. In the spiritual life too he was very great. But he would never speak of it to anyone. “Bhārata must prosper. It must become a noble country, a holy country,” he hoped with all his heart, poor man!
