Passage 5

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Whatever religion you belong to, whatever region you belong to, wherever you go, this alone is what there is. So do not hold to differences of religion. Any religion, it is all one. When minds are good, what religion is bad! So you must keep your mind good. You must understand religion rightly. The mind changes, but religion never changes. So give no room to doubts in this matter. Satya and Prema: keep these two in view. Satya is the Ātma. You keep saying ‘my self’. What is ‘self’? That is the Ātma. You must make following the Ātma your Dharma. No harm of any kind comes to one who follows the Ātma; everything becomes one. Only when you recognise this truth and keep it safe in your heart will you be blessed.

You are all embodiments of Satya! Embodiments of Sathya Sai!

Embodiments of Prema! Keep Satya and Dharma in your heart and never let them go. Dharma does not mean merely giving alms. You must do what the inner Ātma intends. If you truly follow this, you are always embodiments of Satya! You are the embodiments of truth. You are all embodiments of Sathya Sai! Keep this in mind and carry on your divine life. “In these Dasara festivities Swami has not spoken to us even on a single day!”, you are thinking. Today is Vijayadaśamī, the day the old body was given up. I came with a new body and have shown all that took place with the old body. However many obstacles there are, you must keep up your sādhana. You must not join bad company. If you join bad company, you too will turn bad. You must always be in satsaṅga. What does satsaṅga mean? Satya and Dharma themselves! So, if you never let go of Satya and Dharma, then whatever kind of people you mix with, you will come to good.

Within a few days the whole country will become one. With no differences of race, religion or caste of any kind, all will become one, attain oneness and experience divinity.
