In plain words
Let a cold come, let a cough come, let anything happen: sing within yourself. That itself will give you strength in every way. For the Name of God is most holy. Say it once, that is enough: even a life that has gone comes back. Sāvitrī lost her husband and went on grieving deeply. By the prayer she made from her heart, Satyavān rose up and came back. Women who brought the dead back to life like this are found in no country but Bhārata. Though the power of God is everywhere in the world, it shows itself in full measure in Bhārata alone. Yet for those whose citta is pure, there is victory anywhere. Do nāmasmaraṇa with a pure citta, and the fruit it brings has no limit. That is just what Mīrā did, too! “Diving and diving in the sea, I have brought up the pearl that is the Name. See that that precious pearl does not slip from my hand and fall back into the sea, Lord!” she prayed. You have been born into this world. If your birth is to be fulfilled, you must sing the Name of God. In the Bhagavad Gītā Kṛṣṇa said, “Mamaivāṃśo jīvaloke jīvabhūtas sanātanaḥ.” “You are all a part of Me. So, as I am, so must you be too. As pure as My Prema is, so pure must your Prema be.” When you think of God, that same purity comes to you. All is ‘reflection, reaction, resound.’ “From time without beginning you have all been a part of Me,” said Kṛṣṇa. This one thing He taught above all in the Bhagavad Gītā. This at least you must not forget. If this one thing is in your mind, it is as if you had read the whole Bhagavad Gītā!
Faith, Satya, Prema: with these three we can achieve anything
Every man follows some Dharma or other. But where did that Dharma come from? It came from a holy feeling. That holy feeling came from faith. Only when there is faith is Dharma born.
