In plain words

When we have the gold called the śāstra of Bhārat, why devotion to the śāstras of others? When we have the Himālaya that is the Hindu way, why the mountain of the faiths of others? When we have the pure water of the moral codes of Bhārat, why the salt water called the morals of others? When Mount Meru stands here in surpassing splendour, why the troubles over silver and gold? When the Kāmadhenu, who gives milk for the asking, is here, why pay money and buy a cow? Without worshipping the Lotus-eyed again and again, is it right to revile others? What else, beyond this, shall I make known, O members of this assembly, esteemed for goodness and noble qualities!
