To an Andhra seeker, Sri Bhagavan said: is mentioned for one who is fit. It consists in renunciation not of material objects but of attachment to them. Sannyāsa can be practised by any one even at home. Only one must be fit for it. Again,
a Kutichaka is one who takes and lives in a hermitage;a Bahūdaka is one who takes sannyāsa and goes to places of pilgrimage;a Hamsa is an upāsaka sannyāsi;a Paramahamsa is a realised sannyāsi.
