That heart is iron· Verses 22–25

Those eyes of men are the eyes on a peacock's feather, which do not look upon the marks of Visnu. Those feet of men have a tree's birth, which do not walk after the fields of Hari. A mortal who never once comes by the dust of the feet of one of the Lord's own is a corpse though he is alive; and a man who does not know the scent of the tulasi at the feet of holy Visnu is a corpse though he is breathing. That heart is iron, surely, which is not moved when the names of Hari are taken; and when it is moved, there is water in the eyes and the hair of the body stands up. So tell us now, dear one, what falls in with our minds, for you speak as the first among the Lord's own: what Vyasa's son said to the king, being well asked, he who is at home in the knowledge of the self.
