Bhagavan, you are the overseer of all beings, and you are settled in the cave of the heart. With a knowing that nothing can check, you already know what I mean to do. Even so, master, grant to me who ask it the thing I ask: that I may know your two forms, the higher and the lower, though you have no form at all; and how, by the working of your own maya, swelled out with your many powers, you tear down and send forth and take in again, carrying yourself by yourself; and how you play, you whose resolve never fails, as the spider spins its web. Madhava, set in me an understanding that reaches to all of that. Let me do what the Bhagavan has taught me, and do it without slackening, so that by your grace I may not be bound while I labour at the sending forth of creatures.

Lord, in so far as you have made me a friend to a friend, I shall portion out the people in the sending forth of creatures. Standing steady and untroubled at your work, let no swollen pride rise in me, thinking myself unborn.
