24Once in the city the sages, who know well what the Bhagavan intends, were made angry by the boys of the Yadus and the Bhojas at their play, and they laid a curse. 25Then within a few months the Vrsnis and the Bhojas and the Andhakas and the rest went in their chariots to Prabhasa in high spirits, their minds clouded by the god. 26There they bathed, and with that water they satisfied the fathers and the gods and the seers, and then gave cows of many good qualities to the brahmins. 27Gold and silver, beds, clothes, skins and blankets, carriages, chariots, elephants, girls, and land enough to live from. 28And they gave them food of rich savour, offering it up to the Bhagavan; and those brave men, whose lives were for the cows and the brahmins, bowed until their heads touched the ground.
