6A plunge into the hearing of his deathless spotless fame makes the world clean at once, down to the man who cooks dogs. That unhindered one am I; and having got from you a fame that is a good ford, I would cut off even my own arm if it turned against you. 7By serving them I have come to be such that the dust of my lotus feet makes clean and cuts away every stain at once. Sri does not leave me, detached though I am, while others carry out their vows for a scrap of her glance. 8I do not eat with such relish through the mouth of the fire-eater at the sacrificer's spread, taking what drips and swims with ghee, as I eat mouthful by mouthful through the mouth of a contented brahmin, whose own ripened works are laid on me.
9I, whose water of honouring makes the worlds clean in a moment, and the one whose crest is the moon with them, bear on my crowns, in my greatness as the unbroken and unhindered master of yogamaya, the spotless dust of their feet. Who would not put up with brahmins? 10Those whose sight is broken by wrongdoing, whose anger is a snake's, and who look with a mind of division on my bodies, the best of the twice-born, on my milk-cows, and on creatures that have found no shelter: vultures sent by the one who leads punishment for me tear at them in fury. 11Those who honour brahmins even while the brahmins abuse them, who keep their mind on me, glad at heart, their lotus faces washed with the nectar of a smile, who speak to them with a little love in the voice as to their own sons, and so bring them round as I would: by such men I am won.
12So let these two, who did not mark their own master's mind, meet at once the course that follows their offence against you, and come back near me. It will be a kindness to me if the exile of my servants is arranged to be short.
