29Hearing what he said, those three bulls among the gods laughed and answered that seer in smooth words, master. 30As the resolve was made by you, so it must be and no other way. Your resolve holds true, brahmin, and we are what you are meditating on. 31So sons of yours will come to be, portions of us, known through the world; and may it go well with you, for they will spread your good name abroad. 32Having given him the boon he wanted in this way, the lords of the gods, well honoured by that husband and wife, went back again while the two of them looked on. 33Soma came of Brahma's portion, and Datta, who knows yoga, of Visnu's, and Durvasas was Sankara's portion.
