80So the revered Narada, first among the Lord's own, having shown the way of the two swans and taken his leave of the king, went from there to the world of the perfected. 81Pracinabarhi, the royal sage, set his sons over the begetting and the keeping of the people, and went away for austerity to Kapila's hermitage. 82There, his mind on one thing, the hero, his clinging let go, worshipped the lotus feet of Govinda with devotion, and came to be of the same nature as him. 83This hidden telling of the self, sung by the sage among the gods, faultless one: whoever makes it heard, and whoever hears it, is freed from the subtle form.
84It cleans the world with the fame of Mukunda, it came out of the mouth of the best of the sages among the gods, and it makes the self clean. Whoever takes it up as it is sung reaches the highest place, and, every bond loosed, does not wander in this round. 85This hidden telling of the self, a wonder, I have taken for my own. So the shelter a man has by a woman is cut away, and so is doubt about the world beyond.
