26To him who, when at the end of the age this world was covered by a blind darkness that time sent out, uncovered it by his own shining, being light himself; 27and who by a self made threefold sends it out, keeps it and tears it away: to the home of passion and clarity and darkness, to the highest, to the great one, salutation. 28Salutation to the first, to the seed, whose form is knowing and knowing through, who has come into showing by way of the changes of breath, the senses, the mind and the understanding. 29You rule what moves and what stands still, and by the chief breath you are the lord of creatures. You are lord of thought through the thoughts, and of the mind and the senses; you are the great one, master of the elements, the strands and the dispositions.
30With your body you stretch out the seven threads, by the threefold Veda and by the knowledge of the four priests. You are the one self of those who have a self, without beginning, endless and without shore, the seer, the self within. 31You alone are time that does not blink, and you wear down the lives of people by its parts, the moments and the rest. You are the self that stands unmoved, the highest, unborn, the great; and you are the life and the self of the world of the living. 32There is nothing higher than you, and nothing other, nothing at all besides you that moves or does not move. The branches of knowing are your parts and all your bodies. You are the golden womb, the great one above the three.
33This gross body is what shows of you, all-pervading one, and by it you taste the senses, the breaths, the mind and the strands, while you stand in the highest home, unshown, the self, the ancient Person. 34By whom, in his endless unshown form, all this is stretched out: to him, the Bhagavan, joined with the power that is aware and the power that is not, salutation.
