1Hearing this speech of Virocana's son, joined to dharma and kindly and true, the Bhagavan was pleased, and welcoming it he said this. 2Bhagavan said: God among men, this speech of yours is kindly and true, fitting for your line, joined to dharma, and it makes good fame; and in what comes after death your authorities are the Bhrgus and your grandfather, the eldest of your house, who has come to peace. 3For in this line there is no man without strength, no mean man, who promises and then refuses, or who gives nothing to one twice-born. 4There are no kings in your line who turn their faces away when a man asks of them at a holy ford or in battle, none without spirit; and in it Prahlada shines out by his spotless fame, as the moon shines in the sky.
