Seeing him taking his pleasure with another she-goat he liked better than any, the one who had come out of the well could not bear that doing of his. He was a bad heart in the shape of a good one, a creature of desire whose friendship lasted a moment, one who takes his pleasure in the senses. She left him and went, hurt, to her master. And he, given over to females, went after her, wretched, to win her round, making the sound goats make; and he could not mend it on the road. There a certain twice-born man, the she-goat's owner, cut off in anger what hung between his legs; and afterwards, knowing yoga, he joined it back on for a purpose.

And he, joined back together, with that she-goat brought up out of the well, for a long stretch of time, my good woman, and to this very day is not content with his desires.
