From Viduratha came Sura, and his son was Bhajamana, and from him Sini, then Svayambhoja, whose son is held to be Hrdika. Devamidha, Satadhanus and Krtavarman were his sons. Sura, Devamidha's son, had a wife named Marisa. On her he begot ten sons in whom there was no stain: Vasudeva, Devabhaga, Devasravas, Anaka, Srnjaya, Syamaka, Kanka, Samika, Vatsaka and Vrka. At the birth of one of them the gods' drums, the anakas, sounded. So they call Vasudeva, in whom Hari has his place, Anakadundubhi. Prtha, Srutadeva, Srutakirti, Srutasravas and Rajadhidevi were their five sisters. Sura gave Prtha to his friend Kunti, who had no child of his own.
