63What he did was praised without end by the Bhojas, the Vrsnis, the Andhakas, the Madhus, the Surasenas and the Dasarhas, and by the Kurus, the Srnjayas and the sons of Pandu. 64With his fond smiles and his glances, with open-handed words, with the play of his valour, and with a body lovely in every limb, he gave the world of men delight. 65His face, made beautiful by cheeks that shone beside ears with sea-monster rings in them, and by its playing smile, was a festival that never ended. The women drank it with their eyes and were not filled; and the men, glad as they were, were angry at the blink. 66Born, he went from his father's house to Vraja, and there what he came for grew. He killed his enemies, took many wives, and begot on them hundreds of sons. That Person then worshipped with rites, spreading his own self and his own teaching abroad among people.
67Wearing away the earth's heavy burden by the strife that rose up inside the Kurus themselves, he shook the armies of kings apart with a glance in that war, and proclaimed the victory for Vijaya; and having spoken what is highest to Uddhava, he went to his own abode.
