46Having said this, Hari, the Bhagavan, fell silent; and by his own maya, with his parents looking on, he became at once an ordinary infant. 47Then Sura's son, urged on by the Bhagavan, took up his son; and when he wanted to go out from the birth-chamber, at that moment the unborn one who was Yogamaya was born of Nanda's wife. 48By her the doorkeepers, and the townspeople as well, had every working of their awareness taken from them and were laid down asleep; and all the doors, hard to get past, were shut with great panels and iron bolts and chains. 49When Vasudeva came, carrying Krsna, these opened of themselves, as darkness opens before the sun. The cloud rained with a low thunder, and Sesa came behind, holding off the water with his hoods.
50As the bountiful one rained again and again, the younger sister of Yama, foaming with the rush of her deep waters and her waves, churning with a hundred fearful whirlpools, gave him a road, as the sea did for the lord of Sri.
