64Spoken to in this way, king, by the Bhagavan Krsna, whose deeds are wonders, he worshipped him gladly, and the snake's wives worshipped him with reverence, 65with heavenly cloths and garlands and gems, with ornaments beyond price, with heavenly scents and salves, and with a great garland of blue lotuses. 66Having worshipped the lord of the world and won the favour of him whose banner is Garuda, glad, and given leave to go, he walked round him and bowed to him; 67and with his wives and friends and children he went to the island in the sea. And at that same moment the Yamuna became free of poison and her water was nectar, by the kindness of the Bhagavan, who wore the form of a man for his play.
