Bhagavan said: There is no parting of you from me anywhere at all, since I am the self of everything. As the elements stand in beings, space and air and fire and water and earth, so do I, on whom the mind and the breath, the elements, the senses and the strands all rest. In myself alone, by myself, I make myself, and destroy, and keep in being, by the working of my own maya, whose stuff is the elements and the senses and the strands. The self is made of knowing, clean, apart, with no tie to the strands. It is met with as deep sleep and dream and waking, which are the workings of maya. That by which a man broods falsely on what the senses want, like one risen still inside a dream, he should hold back, and the senses with it; and free of that sleep he has come to it.

Here the whole tradition ends, and yoga, and the enumeration of the thoughtful, and giving up, and austerity, and restraint, and truth, as rivers end in the sea.
