As Govinda was thinking so, two chariots with the splendour of the sun came at once out of the sky, with their drivers and their gear, and the ancient heavenly weapons, of their own accord. Seeing them, the lord of the senses said to Sankarsana: Look, noble one, at the trouble that has come to the Yadus, who are in your keeping, lord. Here is your chariot come, and the weapons you love. Mount and kill this force; lift our own people out of their trouble. This is what our birth is for, Lord: to make things well for the good. Take off the earth this weight that goes by the name of twenty-three armies. Having taken counsel so, the two men of the Dasarhas, armoured, on their chariots,

went out from the city, rich in their own weapons, with only a small force about them; and coming out, Hari, with Daruka driving him, blew his conch.
