Having run a long way, and tired, they climbed a high mountain called Pravarsana, where the revered one rains without stopping. Knowing they were hidden on the mountain, and not finding their track, king, he burnt the mountain, letting fire go all round it with firewood. Then the two of them leapt away swiftly from the burning edge and came down on the ground below, from a height of eleven leagues. Unseen by the enemy and his following, the two best of the Yadus came back to their own city, which has the sea for its moat, king. And he, wrongly thinking Bala and Kesava were burnt, drew off his very great force and went to the Magadhas.
