15The lord of Anarta, the glorious Raivata, gave his daughter Raivati to Bala, at Brahma's word, as was told before. 16And the Bhagavan Govinda married the Vaidarbhi, best of Kurus, the daughter of Bhismaka, a portion of Sri, at her own choosing, 17having crushed by force the kings, Salva and the rest, who took the Cedi king's side, while all the worlds looked on, as the son of Tarksya carried off the nectar. 18The Bhagavan married Rukmini, Bhismaka's daughter, of the lovely face, by the rule of the raksasas, so we have heard. 19Revered one, I want to hear how Krsna of measureless splendour beat the Magadha king and Salva and the rest, and carried the girl away.
20Brahmin, the stories of Krsna are holy, they are honey, they take the world's stain away, they are new every time. Who that knows what he has heard could ever be filled with hearing them?
