श्रीभगवानुवाच ।त्रिशिरस्ते प्रसन्नोऽस्मि व्येतु ते मज्ज्वराद्भयम् ।यो नौ स्मरति संवादं तस्य त्वन्न भवेद्भयम्

I bow to you, whose power has no end, lord of what is highest, the self of all, alone, nothing but knowing; the cause of the world's coming out, its standing and its shutting up again; that Brahman, whose mark is Brahman, wholly at peace. Time, what is fated, action, the living being, its own nature, substance, the field, breath, the self, change, and everything gathered out of them, this stream of seed and shoot: all this is your maya. I take refuge in the setting of it aside. By many appearances, each one fitting and taken up in play, you keep up the gods, the good, and the bounds that hold the world. You kill those who go by the wrong road and live by doing harm. This birth of yours is for lifting the earth's load.

I am burnt by your heat, which cannot be borne, by this fever that is cool and fierce at once and altogether terrible. Bodies are burnt just so long as they do not serve the soles of your feet, so long as they are tied to their hopes. Bhagavan said: Three-headed one, I am pleased with you. Let your fear of my fever go. And whoever remembers this talk of ours will have nothing to fear from you.
