God of gods, lord of the world, Govinda, best of Persons, Narayana, lord of the senses, you whose renown is holy, Unfallen, never wearing away. Give me leave, Krsna, lord, as I go the road of the gods. Wherever I may be, let my mind keep its place at your feet. Homage to you, who are every state of being, to Brahman, whose power has no end. Homage to Krsna, to Vasudeva, to the lord of the yogas. Saying this, he walked round him and touched his feet with his own crown, and having his leave he climbed into a fine sky-chariot while the people watched.
