Verse 3

¹Bhagavan said: For the yogin whose senses are conquered, who is joined to the discipline, whose breath is conquered, who holds his thought on me, the powers come and stand ready. ²By which holding does which power come, Unfallen, and in what way? And how many are the powers? Tell me. You are the one who gives them to yogins. ³Bhagavan said: Those who have gone to the far shore of yoga speak of eighteen powers, and of holdings. Eight of them have me for their ground; ten come of the strands.
