Carrying the sound up with his mind into me as the breath whose self is space, that swan hears the speech of all beings, which is found there. Joining the eye to Tvastr and Tvastr to the eye, and meditating there with his mind on me, he sees the whole world with subtle sight. Joining the mind well to me, and the body along with it by the wind, then by the force of holding me the self is there where the mind is. When, taking up the mind, he wishes to be this form or that, that very form of his mind comes about, the strength of my yoga being what he rests on. Entering the body of another, the accomplished one should think his self into it. Leaving his own lump behind, he goes in as breath, become wind, as a bee moves.

Pressing the seat with the heel, raising the breath through heart, chest, throat and head, and leading it to Brahman by the opening at the crown, let him cast off the body. Meaning to roam in the playground of the gods, let him bring to mind the clarity that stands in me. Then the women of the gods, whose working is clarity, come to him in a sky-chariot.
