In plain words
The cowherd girls, to Kṛṣṇa: You whose colour is the great sea with its tides, you who built the causeway: words like these, spoken with those who can catch their double meaning, would taste very sweet. What do you gain by tormenting us, little girls who understand none of it? We swear it by your brides: do not come and wreck our little sand houses.
