In plain words

The cowherd girls, to Kṛṣṇa: You who stay awake through every deluge [thinking of how to protect the worlds]: we stand in the water and grow faint, and you have done what is not just. Our village and our homes are very far away, alas. Our love is for you alone, but if our mothers see us [with you] they will not allow it. Let our silks come back to us, and do not sit perched up there on the flowering kuruntam.
