Āṇṭāḷ asks, and those who saw him answer: 'Have you seen the most pure one who said, "Create the world," and brought forth Brahmā and the other creators, making a house of his navel with its great, cool lotus, and so plays?' 'We saw him in Vṛndāvana, coming back from the hunt, having gone into the forest so that Dhēnuka, the elephant [Kuvalayāpīḍa] and the bird [Baka] perished at once.'
