In plain words
How is one ever to reach them — the feet of the holy, true Guru? How is one ever to reach them? The auspicious Mahārāj, the holy Guru — came, steady as a mountain that never moves, so that his greatness might be known, takes it up and speaks it out with such delicacy, that one might hear it as blessing and sing its praise — Having crossed the pit of the mother's womb, out into the open — having come out, and having undergone sorrow that cannot be told — the feet of the great ones whom nothing conquers, the knowing of these meanings as they come into sight — Putting aside the filth that is the body of unknowing, scouring away the māyā that is darkness, so that the radiance that is full awareness may blaze up, so that, seeing the very form of supreme Brahman, one may bow down — Like a fish caught in the net and faltering, not going under at the landing-place of the round of birth and death as one goes under in deep sleep, standing on the far bank of turning-back, making the mind run clear, setting Brahman without qualities steadily in place — Śrī Venkateśvara, the Guru — day after day, bow down at his lotus feet. Once you have bowed at the feet of the supreme Guru, you shall know for yourself the ease of unending bliss.
