In plain words
Now King Rām has become my helper. Birth and death are cut away, and I have found the highest state. *(refrain)* He has blended me into the company of the sādhūs. He has set me free from the five messengers. The Name is nectar, and my tongue says it over and says it again. He has made me his own, a servant beyond price. The true Guru did me a kindness with nothing in it for himself. He has pulled me out of the ocean of the world. Love has taken hold of the lotus feet. Gōbind lives in my mind, day after day after day. The burning of māyā is quenched, the ember is out. In the mind is contentment, and the Name is my support. The Lord and Master fills the water and the land. Wherever I look, there is the One who knows what is inside. He planted his own *bhagati* in me himself and made it hold. What was written long before has come to me, my brother. The one he gives grace to is made whole in every part. Kabīr's Master is the Shelter of the poor. *bhagati*, love given as worship and as service. The *pañca dūta*, the five messengers: desire, anger, greed, attachment, pride.
