In plain words
One tree, with boughs and branches without end, laden with flower and leaf and juice. This is a garden of amrit, listen, and it was the perfect Hari who made it. I have known it, known it, the story of Rājā Rām. Inside there is light, Rām shining out; rare is the *gurmukh* who has known it. *(refrain)* One bee, pierced through by the juice of the flower, took the twelve and held them at its breast. In the midst of the sixteen the breath came gusting, and up in the sky it fluttered. In the stillness of sahaj one sapling came up, and it drank the earth and the raincloud dry. Says Kabīr, I am the servant of whoever has seen this sapling. *gurmukh*, the one whose face is turned to the Guru.
