The poet, of the fruit of this decad: Kulacēkaraṉ, guardian of Kolli, lord of Kūṭal [Madurai], king of Kōzhi [Uṟaiyūr], whose mind always delights in boundless service to the true servants of Araṅgaṉ, Lord of the Lady of the great inner-petalled flower [the lotus], made this sweet Tamil garland of words. Those who can recite it will become servants of his servants.
