In plain words

A cowherd girl, to Kṛṣṇa, in a lovers' quarrel: You glance sidelong at one girl with dark, flowered hair; even then you set your heart firmly on another; to yet another you say, "I am your servant"; to an innocent girl you appoint a false meeting place; and you embrace a young woman with curling locks, and are not true even to her. O you who broke the marutu trees, alas, as you grow, your trickery grows along with you!
