In plain words
A cowherd girl, to Kṛṣṇa, in a lovers' quarrel: You told me to come and appointed the place, and then went to embrace a girl who had long been waiting in the shade of the jasmine bower with its massed flowers; and seeing me, flustered, you slipped away. Though you escape now, holding your gold-coloured cloth in your hand and showing a feigned fear, if you come here into my hands one day hereafter, I will settle my anger.
