In plain words

Dēvakī, lamenting to Kaṇṇaṉ: Loving women of good, long-standing kinship seated you turn by turn, each on her own lap, and said, "O my lord! Great light of my clan! O lion who has stolen the beauty of the massed clouds of the seven kinds! Who is your father?", and you pointed with your bright red finger and the corner of your eye. Nandaṉ had that fortune; our lord Vasudēva, who lacked good fortune [being wed to me], did not.
